Students start working on the new website!

Birkby Junior School joins joins the Windrush Anniversary Garden
Children in Class 4M at Birkby Junior School planted broad beans and nasturtium seeds for the Windrush Anniversary Garden. Their teacher told us, “ The children have been looking after their plants and we’ve seen some fantastic growth this week! They wanted to send some pictures to you to update you on how they’re doing.” Here are some of the broad beans getting rather tall. The nasturtium seeds to longer to germinate.

Gardening with Community Elders
In early June 2023 Bradley Court and Locorum’s Digital Gardeners teamed up to plant seeds for the Windrush Anniversary Garden in Springwood Huddersfield. Pastor Orlando Brown joined in with residents to help plant nasturtiums, spring onions and runner beans.
